Grange Over Sands
Grange is a fantastic Edwardian resort complete with ornamental gardens and a traffic- free promenade. There are many independent shops and some fabulous cafes - try Hazelmere's opposite the gardens for the best afternoon tea!
Holker Hall
Holker Hall is a short trip from Grange and is certainly worth a visit. Open from March 14th onwards you can easily spend all day visting the hall itself or explore the 25 acres of marvelous gardens. www.holker.co.uk.
Laurel & Hardy Museum - Ulverston
For those happy to travel a little further, the Laurel & Hardy museum in Ulverston boasts a great collection of 'the boys' memorabilia and even has it's own cinema!
