So you've chosen the venue, the most amazing bridal gown, picked out your bridesmaid dresses and suit hire for the men, booked the photographer and florist yet your wedding is still 12 months away . . . 'what do I do now?' I hear you cry!
Many of our couples recently have made their own decorations to accompany their bridal theme and it has really allowed them to show off their personalities. It's also a practical way of keeping to your budget and gives you something to do in those 'in-between' planning months before it all gets crazy again!
There's no need to run to the local craft store and spend a fortune though, there are many ways you can accentuate your theme using jam jars with hessian bows, table centres using vintage cups and saucers or bunting from the 'cut offs bin' of your local haberdashery to name a few.
Obviously Pinterest is a fantastic place for inspiration of how you can utilise junk shop style items into the most spectacular centrepieces, but make sure you set yourself a budget and finalise your scheme before starting, otherwise you'll get carried away with it all! Once you've planned everything all you need is a few bottles of Prosecco, your bridesmaids and mums and you'll be done in no time!
We've added a few ideas to each of our Pinterest boards to get you started, but particularly like these winter snowglobe centrepieces!
