Last night at the Cumbria Business Environment Network Awards we were just expecting to pick up our Silver award as we explained below. But if that wasn't enough we also secured the prestigious Excellence Award for the organisation that has gone above and beyond the requirements within the silver category.
This is a fantastic achievement and a fitting tribute to the hotel team for all the hard work we've put in to improving our environmental practices and supporting green initiatives.
Hopefully good news comes in three's as we have our Green Tourism Business Scheme inspection next month.
Think we might need a bigger trophy cabinet . . .
