Les Brown, our Pub landlord, has reached the pinnacle of good cellarmanship by getting Alexanders The Pub into the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 2011.
He and his fantastic team have worked really hard to make Alexanders one of the top 4,500 outlets (out of 54,000) for the finest cask beer in the country.
Roger Protz, Editor of the Good Beer Guide says 'it speaks volumes for the quality of your beer that your local CAMRA members have selected you for inclusion.'
Alexanders features four cask ales sourced from predominantly local breweries such as Hawkshead, Coniston & Dent, which Les has personally chosen. Given this award and the kudos it brings, Les may have to increase his weekly order!
