We learned this week that we have been shortlisted in the Training & Development and Hotel of the Year categories at this years Westmorland Gazette Business and Tourism Awards.
The awards dinner is actually being held at the hotel iin September so this will already be an opportunity for us to show our fellow Cumbrians what's great at Castle Green and even better if we end up with an award!
Tim's hoping we win at least one as he's in Swindon until lunchtime on the day of the awards at the annual Best Western Sales Conference and faces a long drive back and a quick change to sit down for dinner!
Hopefully the champagne will dampen any indigestion - we'll keep you posted!
