With Andrew Postlethwaite currently our shining star with a second place at the National Young Chef of the Year competition and a finalist at the recent Visionary dining event - the appetite for competition has increased in the Castle Green kitchen, with Executive Chef Justin Woods being shortlisted for Chef of the Year as part of the Cumbria Life Food and Drink Awards.
Hosted again at The Lakes School, Kendal College on Friday 2nd December it promises to be a fantastic night which will hopefully prove fruitful for Castle Green and our excellent kitchen team. The only issue now is who is going to cook for the 300 people coming for Christmas Parties on that night?
