One of our most famous exports.
Her house at Hilltop is only open in the summer months, but the fantastic Beatrix Potter Attraction in Bowness is open all year round for you to get your Peter Rabbit fix!
William Wordsworth
Grasmere is the place to head for all things poetic!
You can visit William's final resting place, walk through the daffodils, then enjoy some famous Grasmere Gingerbread - the shop is just next door to the cemetery - before heading off to Dove Cottage, the Wordsworth Museum & Art Gallery.
