Lake District Summer Music Festival 27th July - 9th August
This international arts festival based in the Southern Lake District has chamber music at its heart. Each year, the event hosts over 40 events in intimate venues in locations such as Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside, Grange-Over-Sands and Ulverston. Lake District Folk Weekend - 2nd, 3rd and 4th August
Centred around Hawkshead Brewery's 'Beer Hall', The Lake District Folk Weekend takes place in the picturesque Lakeland village of Staveley, just a short drive from Kendal. Alternatively you can catch one of the regular train connections and sample the tasty brew’s on offer while you enjoy the range of artists performing around the village.
Lakes Alive 6th – 8th September 2019
Lakes Alive is a family friendly festival of spectacular arts and cultural happenings which takes place in the town centre. The weekend will see an array of amazing installations, vibrant illuminations, intimate performances and digital delights filling the town. The festival offers a weekend of free events for residents and visitors to enjoy.
